Women Lead Webinar Series

Exclusively for Premium Access Pass members

Two thirds of working moms say they’re burnt out, and 88% believe being a parent is harder than ever. It’s no wonder that many moms are hitting the brakes on their careers, with 43% stepping away from the workforce after having children.

Kari Clark had the opposite experience. She says having kids “made me even better at my job at Google”— and she’s not alone. More than 150 women at the top of their fields have had similar experiences, and their insights form the basis of this session.

Clark’s experiences as a working mother inspired her to start Uplift, a digital learning platform that treats motherhood as a competitive advantage in the workplace. In this webinar, Clark shares how being a working mom can help you kick ass at your career.

Parenting is far from easy, but it’s also an opportunity to develop new habits that help you thrive at work, at home, and everywhere in between.

In this session, we’ll cover:

  • How to turn motherhood into your secret weapon
  • Creating rules and structures that will give you the “working mom” edge
  • The importance of making mini-investments in yourself to keep you fueled along the way
  • And lots more

The webinar is presented by:

Kari Clark, Founder Uplift

Kari Clark founded Uplift out of her own experience. She has two kids (ages 5 and 3) who both made her better at her job and life. She wants to rewrite the script on what being a working mom means. Before Uplift, Kari worked at Google for eight years in marketing and product management. Kari has also worked in product, digital strategy, and production at Apple, Publicis, and MKG Productions. Kari holds an MBA from Kellogg, where she was an Austin Scholar and a Kellogg Innovation Network Global Fellow.
