Wharton 1Gen Visit Day is an in-person, full day recruitment program designed to expose those who are the first in their immediate families to earn a 4-year college degree, otherwise known as First-generation college students. It is our hope to expose members of the first-generation college going community to the academic, social, and cultural life of the Wharton MBA experience. The program is intended for those who are preparing to apply to the Wharton full-time MBA program during the current application cycle.

This in-person event will feature opportunities to learn from Wharton faculty, staff, administrators and/or current students about the Wharton MBA experience and the city of Philadelphia. We will feature a Mock Application Admissions workshop exercise, opportunities to engage with current Wharton students, faculty, and staff. This event is best for candidates who may have interest in joining any of the following clubs/organizations: Wharton 1Gen.

There will be an optional, informal MBA student happy hour/Pub social immediately following the formalized program from 6-8:30pm.
