As part of Forté’s work supporting gender equity in business schools and in the workplace, we recently completed a comprehensive research study of the MBA experience. We focused on three stages — the admissions process, the student business school experience, and the career success of graduates — and sought to understand key differences in outcomes and perspectives by gender and race.

In this webinar, Michelle Wieser, Forté Academic in Residence, will present our findings and provide highlights from all three portions of the study. We will discuss:

• The perceptions and experiences of prospective students, current students, and alumni as they move through the MBA admissions process.
• Insights from current students and alumni on their experiences in business school, with an emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusivity.
• Career outcomes of MBA graduates by gender and race/ethnicity. This portion of the study examined a broad set of typical career measures such as compensation and level in the organization as well as intrinsic measures such as one’s own assessment of success.
