Event Details
An alumna from Imperial College London, Yvette studied MSc Electrical Power Systems and Machines from 1972 to 1974. After finishing her studies at Imperial College, Yvette returned to her home country of Sierra Leone, where she was the first Sierra Leonean woman engineer. In 2012, the President requested that Yvette represent Sierra leone at its first permanent mission to the UN in Geneva.
Please join us in welcoming Yvette back to Imperial, and Dean Francisco Veloso of Imperial College will be giving an introductory speech and recognising Yvette’s “Winner of Distinguished Imperial Alumni Award 2021.” Yvette will be speaking to an event moderator for the first half of the event, and then she will open the floor to questions from the audience.
This event is hosted by the Imperial College Africa Business Club and Imperial MBA Women.
