Intrigued by the thought of being on a corporate board? You are not alone. In collaboration with the Forté Alumni Leadership Council, we are excited to bring to you a series of discussions and workshops which will help you better understand the steps you can take to claim your seat at the table. Our series will kick off with a moderated discussion featuring one such woman who is widely considered one of the most powerful women in business, Marjorie Magner, who will share her story; as well as, advice about the actions you might want to take to work toward that board seat.
In the first two months of 2023, women gained 34 seats on the boards of S&P 500 companies, increasing the percentage of total women to 32.5%. Forté’s newest speaking series, Women on Boards, both highlights the stories of those in that 32.5% and helps direct the efforts and intentions of those who aspire to move that percentage even higher. As a segment of the Forté Premium Membership level, Women on Boards offers quarterly insights and encouragement for all who have dreamt of having a seat at the table.
