Carol Rosenfeld, MBA
Associate Director, Career Management Center
Duke’s Fuqua School of Business

As an Associate Director in the Career Management Center at Duke’s Fuqua School of Business, Carol coaches students on career options and strategies drawing on her experience working in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. Previously, Carol advised governments and other organizations on how to pay for clean energy at the Environmental Finance Center at the University of North Carolina. She also advocated for state-level green banks at the Coalition for Green Capital and managed energy use for the City of Philadelphia. In addition, she has worked on energy and sustainability strategy at the University of Pennsylvania, Exelon, and Environmental Defense Fund. Carol holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management, where she was a Forté Fellow, as well as a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Princeton University. She is a LEED Accredited Professional and a Senior Fellow in the Environmental Leadership Program.

Krystal Brooks is Senior Director of Development for the Forté Foundation, an action-oriented non-profit consortium of leading companies and top universities working together to launch women into fulfilling, significant careers through access to business education, opportunities, and a community of successful women. Krystal oversees Forté’s academic partner network, including 200+ of the world’s best universities and business schools.

Before her work in development, Krystal served as the first program director for Forté MBALaunch, a 10-month MBA preparatory program for women, and led Forté’s early career and undergraduate programming. Krystal’s university experience was cultivated in varying roles at Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper School of Business, most recently as Director of Masters Admissions.
Krystal earned an MA in Student Affairs and Higher Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Finance and Music from Lycoming College. She lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with her husband, two children, and an overly active puppy. She enjoys music and the arts and has participated in several choirs in and around Pittsburgh.
