In this session Professor Mary Frances Luce will discuss pricing and the marketing tactic used to return value to the firm. We will consider pricing from both economic and psychological perspectives, noting the need to balance the imperative to extract value for the firm (e.g., setting higher prices with higher value) against the imperative to maintain customer goodwill (e.g., maintaining perceptions of fairness in pricing strategy).
