Ali Wing

Ali is a consumer-centric, digitally-savvy growth CEO & independent board director with a track record of brand building, innovation & data-driven growth critical to enterprise scale & transformation in a rapidly changing world.

Specializing at the intersection of consumer brands, technology & healthy living, Ali is most known for her strategic, brand & digital acumen. Ali has a proven value creation track record as an operator across diverse industries, including consumer (products & services), retail (direct-to-consumer & omnichannel), health/wellness, technology & biotechnology/foodtech. With more than 25 years’ operating experience in growth & transformation roles in venture & private equity-backed to Fortune 500 businesses, Ali has served as an operating board member for a variety of companies since 2015. Ali was recognized among Women’s Inc Top 100 Corporate Board of Directors in 2019.

In addition to her current role as CEO & Board member of Oobli, Inc., a venture-backed biotechnology & consumer goods company focused on disrupting sugar, Ali currently serves as an independent director for Casey’s General Stores (NASDAQ: CASY). Casey’s owns & operates more than 3,000 convenience stores, is the 5th biggest US pizza chain at www.caseys.com & is very successfully in its fifth year of a five-year digital transformation agenda. Ali serves on the Compensation Committee of Casey’s. Previously Ali served as an independent director for Bazaarvoice (NASDAQ: BV). Founded in 2005, Bazaarvoice was the largest ratings & reviews platform across 5,000 brand & retail websites. Bazaarvoice was sold to Marlin Equity in early 2018.  Finally, Ali just recently retired from her 10-plus year service on the board of Worldwide Orphans (WWO).  WWO is 25-year-old a nonprofit working to help improve the lives of children through their proprietary developmental program “Element of Play” across five countries. Ali ran the Executive Committee of WWO.
Ali has successfully completed Harvard Business School’s 2020/2021 Corporate Governance Certificate Program.  Ali holds a dual JD / MBA from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. Ali lives in California with her husband.

Charity Hemphill-Frierson

Meet Charity Hemphill-Frierson, Product Manager, Meta Platforms, Inc. and Vice Chair, Forté Alumni Leadership Council

Charity Hemphill-Frierson is the Vice Chair of the Programs Committee for Forte Foundation’s Alumni Leadership Council. Her journey with Forte started when she was a member of the 2014 class of MBALaunch. Charity is currently a Product Manager at Meta Platforms, Inc., where she has worked on Ads and Business Messaging products. She earned her MBA at the Kellogg School of Management and her BA at Vanderbilt University.
