The Changemakers series is part of our Professional Membership. This series features Global thought leaders sharing insights on change, adaptation, and acceleration in today’s evolving world.
Looking to create a culture where teams can effectively communicate when it matters most and each person can thrive? In order to advance justice in our lives and organizations, we must be able to have difficult conversations about issues negatively impacting our society. This workshop dives into what makes conversations about DEI so challenging, provides tools for navigating hard conversations, and invites participants to practice.

Meet Georgia Faye Hirsty and Erinn Carter, Founders of Frailty Myths

Frailty Myths is a different kind of DEI organization that uses data and the power of practice to transform workplace and community culture and advance justice. Georgia Faye Hirsty and Erinn Carter are two of Frailty Myths’ founders.
Georgia has a long history of building principled, highly skilled teams to perform in high-stress environments. She worked with Greenpeace International for many years, training teams in direct action, leadership, DEI, and developing innovative, impactful curriculum. Georgia has an MBA with an emphasis in sustainability from the Yale School of Management.
Erinn has an impressive background in data analysis, teaching, and applying theoretical frameworks like race theory to real life. She completed her graduate work at UCLA and spent many years organizing on labor issues, specifically working with Unite Here as their boycott coordinator. She is currently a Brioxy fellow.
