This session is designed to explore “imposter syndrome,” a powerful paradigm in which we feel like frauds despite concrete evidence of our accomplishments and success. In this session, we’ll explore imposter syndrome’s origins and its negative impact on one’s sense of self confidence and mental health. Acknowledging that so many of us experience imposter syndrome at times, we will use compelling concepts from The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People to affirm a more authentic and confident self. The session is experiential. Participants will be invited to explore the impact of this syndrome and make a commitment to move beyond it.

Deb Hauck is one of the most experienced consultants at FranklinCovey. She supports leaders committed to developing cultures that get stellar, sustainable results. She excels at coaching, facilitating groups, and working with intact teams. Although the majority of the clients she works with are senior leaders, she is known for her ability to connect with people at all levels of the organization. Deb facilitates work sessions and coaches leaders in several sectors including Energy and Healthcare. Over half of her clients are Public Sector and she works with all four branches of the military.

She is known as a trainer’s trainer, often developing the capacity of internal facilitators to increase their effectiveness. She is frequently called on to develop and customize leadership curriculum. A significant amount of Deb’s work is international. She is a frequent member of FranklinCovey’s President’s Club, which honors the highest performing consultants.
