Event Details

According to the Global Impact Investing Network, gender lens investing describes for-profit investments made with the intent to address gender issues or promote gender equity. While some investors funnel capital toward women or toward products or services that benefit them, still others aim for gender diversity within organizations themselves.

During this webinar, Dr. Lauren Kaufmann will offer participants an overview of the emerging field of gender lens investing as well as the latest research-backed insights for improving these strategies. Drawing on her expertise in impact investing and academic research, she will guide participants in identifying where current approaches to gender equity are stalling and how cutting-edge approaches to gender lens investing could catalyze change.

This session will discuss:
• What strategies exist for gender lens impact investing today
• How academic scholarship can improve these strategies
• A framework for investing in gender diversity for the long term
