Breaking into the boardroom can be challenging for anyone. Yale’s Women on Boards program gives its participants guided preparation for the board search process. Prior to beginning you will complete pre-work, which includes pre-readings and drafting a board CV. You will develop a search plan during the course and review your progress post program with peer accountability partners.

Becoming a Board Director helps women leaders in many ways, including:

• Acquire and contribute invaluable strategic perspective to prepare for success in a C-suite role
• Form important professional “sponsoring” relationships across industries and sectors
• Demonstrate highly visible, unique subject matter expertise to expedite advancement

Our Women on Boards program will be running this fall in three modules. The first module will take place live online from November 11 – 13, 2020. Module 2 will also take place live online on the last Friday of each month January through April 2021. Module 3 will take place on campus June 7 – 10, 2021.
