During this session, you will become more self-aware of your communication tendencies and learn how to read your audience and adjust your style to convey your thoughts and ideas more powerfully.

By the end of the session, you will have improved your ability to influence by:

• Becoming more self-aware of your communication style.
• Understanding other communication styles and how to adapt so your message lands.
• Practicing and role-playing scenarios in a safe environment with others who have different styles.
• Receiving immediate feedback on both what you are doing well and ways to improve.

Understanding communications theory is an important first step but learning by doing turns that knowledge into action. With the use of virtual breakout rooms, you will put your understanding to work in a small group setting, where you can practice communicating in order to increase influence and navigate difficult conversations.
