The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted business. Indeed, leaders had to pivot – and do so quickly out of necessity – in order to best support their employees, collaborators, and customers. This webinar will highlight the important work of women leaders at DaVita, Merck, and EcoLab who have helped their respective teams navigate the unique complexity of work during a global health crisis. Students will learn how these professionals have remained resilient, focused, and agile – understanding how they can apply this knowledge throughout their undergraduate experience and beyond.

UNC: Sandra Chandler, Associate Director of Employer Engagement & Recruiting

 Sandra Chandler joined UNC Kenan-Flagler in 2018. She currently serves as the Associate Director of Employer Engagement & Recruiting within the Career & Leadership Team for MBA & Alumni.  Sandra brings 20+ years of experience in education and strategic partner engagement.  She has industry expertise in Technology, Business Development, Financial Services, Healthcare, and Education.  Sandra has four (4) years of experience as an Adjunct Faculty Member delivering Human Resource Development courses at Durham Technical Community College as well as four (4) years of experience working in Admissions at Duke University. She also spent eight (8) years with the national education non-profit organization, New Teacher Center (NTC). NTC is focused on ending the predictability of educational inequity in public education for systemically underserved students by focusing on accelerating educator effectiveness.

Most recently she has supported the Finance and Energy Sectors, including Investment Banking, Private Wealth, Investment Management & Corporate Finance. In addition to the Finance and Energy sectors, she recently added Healthcare to her slate of industries. She also leads efforts related to Employer Engagement efforts for those seeking just-in-time hiring opportunities. This population includes those MBA students seeking an off-campus search within any of our MBA Programs (FT, Evening, Weekend, @UNC). Sandra also works collaboratively with the Kenan-Flagler Alumni Community to support those seeking to hire or engage with employers.
