Self-proclaimed weirdo Jennifer Romolini floundered for most of her twenties: she dropped out of college, got married and divorced, struggled with money.

It took her twenty-three interviews to land an editorial position in digital media at age twenty-seven. In the years since, her career has taken off. Romolini’s gone on to run some of the biggest websites in the world, and now serves as chief content officer of shondaland.com.
